Vogue workshop & panel discussion

During Gooi Pride 2025, we hosted an introductory vogue dance workshop with JoJo Miyake Mugler & Ayala at Fotomuseum Hilversum. The event also included a conversation about the importance and history of vogue.

JoJo Miyake Mugler guides you through the history of the ballroom scene: how it all began, why it matters, and how the different styles emerged. You’ll learn the basics of Old Way Vogue, New Way Vogue, Vogue Femme, and Runway. This workshop offers a taste of everything, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in the energy of ballroom. Put on comfortable shoes and get ready to be surprised by this unique experience!

There will also be a panel talk on the importance of voguing and the ballroom scene for the queer community, featuring Ayala.
